Raw food is an easy and simple way of cleansing the body and mind of accumulated impurities. It is also a fun and innovative way to cook very tasty and satisfying meals for people who truly love and understand food in general and care for their health. The usual ingredients we would use are nuts, seeds, vegetables, different types of sea weeds, sprouts, green leaves, fresh and dried fruits. But also cocoa powder, nut butters, honey, olives, etc… Adding to that things like maca powder, goji berries, spirulina, chlorella which come from plants, roots, or sea weed and are considered super food. All sort of food that is basically non-processed, not heated above 40*C, not fried, etc… But rather cooked via a blender, mandolin, juicer, food processor, dehydrator, in order to keep the food pure and full of live enzymes which eases digestion.
We believe it is a good way to purge the body when it needs it. We do not denigrate cooked food, as long as it is fresh and cooked healthily (like steamed, or boiled). Keeping an open mind and a compassionate attitude towards the world, towards our lives and people, towards our food is the way to go. We just think that including as much fresh and uncooked fruits and vegetables as possible in your diet will help you assimilate minerals and vitamins to feel full of life. We are not saying this IS the way to eat. We just think it is one of the healthiest diets on earth that is available for people who are interested in alternative things, people who want to lose weight effectively and healthily (there is NO STARVATION in a raw food diet, you eat as much as you want, but making the right choices and the right combinations, in order to get rid of waste product as fast as possible and leave the body leaner and healthier as it should be to live a more harmonious life)
The main point of this way of eating is really to ensure a communion between your body and mind as we believe it is essential to bring ourselves to our full potential. Our capacities to think clearer and move more easily in everyday life and when you exercise.
This diet requires a lot of researching in order to develop knowledge about yourself so take it slowly and read about it before you get into it. This is our advice! And again, you can include as much raw food in your diet as you want. There is no right or wrong. Be kind to yourself. Love yourself.
